Equo’s team of IT, equestrian, and service professionals vet each shipper and monitor the progress of each shipment to maximize safety and value, while also providing step by step updates as the equines travel.
“The horse industry is transforming all over the world,” stated co-founder and CEO of Equo Steven Bluman, “and we thought the way we move horses should change to match. This was the inspiration behind Equo. By combining horse shipping and technology together in a simple and smart app, we’ve made it easier and safer for owners to ship their horses and more easy and efficient for drivers and shipping companies to keep their trucks on the road. We are thrilled to be a supporting sponsor of The Ridge’s Palm Beach Series, and looking forward to facilitating transport for the equine industry in 2017.”
The 2017 Palm Beach Series
The 2017 Palm Beach Series includes 13-weeks of hunter, jumper, and equitation competition, including a diverse offering of divisions and classes, National, International, and Pony USHJA Hunter Derbies, weekly 1.40-1.45M Grand Prix classes, USEF Equitation Tuesdays hosted at The Ridge at Wellington, and the exceptional venues and all natural surfaces on the Turf Tour. Hosted at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, just two miles from Wellington’s center, the Palm Beach Series will also offer seasonal stabling packages on the showgrounds, which include a covered arena, multiple all weather arenas, and permanent barns.
“All of The Ridge’s shows are created with the horse in mind, from our open in-gate policy to the challenging but practicable course designs,” said organizer and founder Olympic showjumper Nona Garson. “Especially in the debut of our 2017 Palm Beach Series, we want to make showing less of a strain on horses and humans alike. With the addition of Equo to our sponsor roster, we are excited to offer yet another way to make showing more enjoyable.”
